Carhartt Black Rain Defender Paxton Heavyweight Hooded Sweatshirt

The Carhartt Black Rain Defender Paxton Heavyweight Hooded Sweatshirt is built for workers who spend long hours outdoors and need a layer that refuses to quit. Black is the go-to color for job sites where grime and grease are part of the daily routine, hiding wear while maintaining a sharp, professional look from the first shift to the last.

At the core of this hoodie is a heavy-duty cotton blend treated with Rain Defender technology, a durable water-repellent finish that sheds light rain and moisture before it can soak through. The fabric carries real weight, providing the kind of warmth and wind resistance that thin fleeces simply cannot match when temperatures drop on a construction site or a rooftop job.

The original fit drapes generously across the shoulders and chest, giving tradespeople full range of motion while swinging a hammer, reaching overhead, or climbing a ladder. An attached jersey-lined three-piece hood features a drawcord closure so workers can lock out wind and cold in seconds.

Spandex-reinforced rib knit cuffs and waistband stretch with the body and snap back into shape, keeping cold air from sneaking up the sleeves after a hard day of movement. Available through SWAGHQ with a minimum order of six units and a ten-to-fourteen business day turnaround, this hoodie is a proven performer.

It suits construction companies, trade contractors, corporate safety programs, and outdoor professional teams. They want branded gear that works as hard as the people wearing it. The front hand warmer pocket includes a hidden interior security pocket, and the signature Carhartt label is sewn directly onto the pocket for authentic brand identity.
