William Stanley, Jr. invented the all-steel, double-wall vacuum bottle in 1913. He was a physicist and inventor with more than 100 patents. Stanley has built on that invention for more than 100 years.

Stanley 1913 is a brand of PMI, with headquarters in Seattle. The Quencher ProTour Flip Straw Tumbler shows the line today. It uses 18/8 recycled stainless steel, double-wall vacuum insulation, and a leakproof flip straw lid.

Stanley lists the 30 oz size as cold for 9 hours, or 40 hours with ice. It fits most car cupholders, is dishwasher safe, and is BPA-free. It comes in 14, 20, 30, 40, and 64 oz.

Stanley's 2026 Impact Report says 81% of its stainless steel units in 2025 used recycled content. Those units contain at least 90% recycled stainless steel. Stanley holds Recycled Claim Standard certification for that claim.

Stanley also runs Take Back, a recycling program for eligible steel and stainless steel Stanley products. Stanley donates $5 to Ocean Conservancy for each eligible item recycled, up to $200,000 per year.

Stanley's Stainless Steel Vacuum Lifetime Warranty covers drinkware and food containers for the life of the product. Lids, seals, and straws are not included.
