The cornerstone of our shell layer offerings, all S3 Solution styles are made with softshell fabric, providing stretch in all directions for the ultimate freedom of movement on the job. Technically, the 3-layer fabric is waterproof, but because we laminate fleece on the inside for warmth, the seams cannot be taped. We don't claim the S3 Solution Jacket is waterproof, but you would have to be in a downpour for the seams to leak. This high-performance jacket is engineered for supreme comfort in cold, wet, or windy weather with a channeled-hex fleece liner to trap warm air. Windproof and almost completely waterproof exterior, while the fleece liner eliminates the need for the weight and bulk of extra layers.
